Most linear guides and ball screws have grease nozzles at the end of the sliding seat and the screw nut. The grease gun can be used to inject the grease into the guide rail and the screw. Effective maintenance not only ensures the accuracy and speed of the equipment, but also extends the service life of the equipment.
PEK reminds you of lubrication maintenance steps.
1. Carefully wipe off the grease on the surface of the guide rail and the lead screw, especially the grease in the groove; pay attention to the grease in the mounting hole of the guide rail.
2. Use a grease gun nozzle to add oil to the transmission cavity from the oil injection nozzle until the internal dirty oil is completely squeezed out. Remove the squeezed oil.
3. Use your fingers to apply a little grease on the surface of the lead screw (guide rail) to give priority to the groove.
4. Push the nut (sliding seat) back and forth several times to ensure the oil film is even.
5. Remove excess grease and warm up the machine.
